Celebrate the Small Things

Hosted by Viklit, this is a great weekly chance to talk about the small things worth celebrating in life!

Missed the hop last week, but now I’m back! This week, I’m celebrating:

  • I solved a rubik’s cube! Okay, I followed a guide, but it still took, like, 4 HOURS to figure it out. Ridiculous. And I’m not even sure why I decided to start in the first place…the determination hit, and I, well, became determined!
  • Got to a place in my manuscript that I actually enjoy editing! YAY!! I’m hoping that keeps up…there is still a fair amount of the story left, but we’re heading into the most important parts, so I’m looking forward to it.

What are you celebrating this week?

      Yay for good editing progress!

Okay, the rubik's cube, I have not tried to solve one (yet) because I *know* I will not move until it's done. Even if takes me days. And now that you mentioned a guide, my fingers are feeling twitchy to try it lol

An *official* rubik's cube guide (ooohhhh, aaaahhh) =3 It is definitely one of those things in which you try, give up, throw the cube across the room, fold your arms in frustration, go back and get the cube, start all over again…repeat 5,000 times.

You're doing heaps better than I am. I've never solved a Rubik's cube, and my revision is kicking my butt. Keep forging ahead on yours!
    4. It's years since I played with a Rubik's cube, glad you managed to solve it in the end. I enjoy editing too and am stuck into my MG project at the moment.

I'm curious to know what sparked on the determination to solve the Rubik's? I don't know if I have that kind of patience!
