Celebrate the Small Things

Hosted by Viklit, this is a great weekly chance to talk about the small things worth celebrating in life!

This week, I’m celebrating:

  • Finished my latest round of editing! Now it’s delving back into synopsis/query world again, which is always difficult, but so exciting.
  • On Sunday we saw The Lion King on stage, which was fun. I’d seen the show before, but my husband hadn’t…I’ll be honest and admit that the plot/characters aren’t as good as the original movie for us, but the costumes and the puppetry are what make that show totally worth seeing!

What are you celebrating this week?

I've heard that the costumes on the Lion King are amazing. Glad you enjoyed it. As to the writing – horray! Good luck querying and keep us up-dated.

Yay for finishing this latest round of edits! And best of luck with the queries and all that good stuff! 😀
    3. Finishing edits is definitely worth celebrating!
    4. Congrats on finishing your edits….but UGH! on the synopsis and querying part!! I wish you much Luck!!
    5. So glad you made progress on your work and had fun on a date with your hubby. Enjoy the weekend.

Nothing better to celebrate than finishing those edits. I loved Lion King, too.

I read an article about the artwork, puppetry and costumes that went into The Lion King stage production. Astonishing! And they seemed to work (though I, myself, preferred the original movie).

For me, finishing a round of synopsis-crunching and querying is ample cause for celebration. I hope you are able to celebrate that – preferably because a full manuscript request has brought it to a halt!

I got to see "The Lion King" on stage, once. The puppetry was truly awesome; I've yet to forget the thrill of watching the elephant walk down the aisle, just a few seats away!
