Celebrate the Small Things

Hosted by Lexa Cain, this is a great weekly chance to talk about the small things worth celebrating in life!

This week, I’m celebrating:

  • October! – I love October…it’s a month of baking, warm beverages, crisp walks, pretty colours, cozy fires, and the joys of Thanksgiving (here in Canada) and Halloween. So looking forward to spending some time outdoors or by the fireplace with a good book (…if I get the chance!)
  • Getting settled into a new routine. – It’s been two weeks back at work now, and while it has been (as I suspected) pretty exhausting, we’re getting settled and making the transition. The baby is doing great, which makes it a lot less stressful!

What are you celebrating this week?

I’m happy to hear you and your family are transitioning well. I’m sure you’ll all be in the swing of things in no time. I love fall too, for all the reasons you mentioned. (No fireplace here though. *sigh*) Have a lovely weekend! 🙂

Sounds like a good week and yes snuggling up by the fire is a lovely way to enjoy the colder weather but I’m hoping our Indian Summer over here in England lasts a little longer 🙂 Have a super weekend! Special Teaching at Pempi’s Palace
  6. October happens to be one of my favorite months too – that and December. Glad your baby is handling the transition well, good for you both! Blessings and have a wonderful week!
