Celebrate the Small Things

Hosted by Lexa Cain, this is a great weekly chance to talk about the small things worth celebrating in life!

This week, I’m celebrating:

  • Getting a new car (?) – I can’t quite decide if this is a celebration, or an annoyance! Our old junk car died this week. I loathed the thing, and we knew we’d need to replace it in the next couple of years, but at the same time, we weren’t at all prepared to replace it now. So, we have to get a new (used) car this weekend. It’s nice in that we’ll actually get something I don’t mind driving, and something that can fit the whole family with room to grow. But it’s a pain because, well, cars *sigh*.

What are you celebrating this week?

I know the car dilemma feeling!!! Someone just rear ended my daughter’s car and now it’s totaled. Wasn’t expecting to go car shopping this weekend, but now….

    Good Luck!!!

Ugh, good luck to you as well!
  3. Lol! I want to kick my car this week and am thinking of giving up on it too. Here’s to happy driving and knowing you did the best thing!

    Cars are terrible, aren’t they?

I hope your new car is something that you like and causes you much less grief in the years ahead. Have a great weekend! 🙂

Good luck getting used to it, and hope nothing seriously bad happens to it.
