Celebrate the Small Things

Hosted by Lexa Cain, this is a great weekly chance to talk about the small things worth celebrating in life!

This week, I’m celebrating:

  • Going sockless at work! – Okay, this might sound like a weird thing to be thankful for. But the weather’s been so nice this week, yesterday I wore my flats without any socks or stockings…it’s not very often you get to have your feet exposed to the elements in Canada in December!
  • Baking – I am not a fan of cooking in any shape or form, but I do love to bake. And so far this holiday season I’ve been doing a fair bit of it. It’s just awesome to sit back with a jolly movie and a warm, homemade cookie (or two, or three, or…)

What are you celebrating this week?

I’m elbow deep in cookie baking right now. And it’s also balmy here in Buffalo, NY. In fact it’s supposed to hit the 60’s on Sunday. Loving it!!!!

It has been warm. Santa will have to come in a buggy. Cookies! Yay!
  5. Ooh, cookies! Yum! It has been warmer than normal here in New England, too. I don’t think I can recall a December where I would even think about going barefoot. Have a great weekend and fun Christmas holiday!
