Celebrate the Small Things

Hosted by Lexa Cain, this is a great weekly chance to talk about the small things worth celebrating in life!

This week, I’m celebrating:

  • Nice walks with the family. We discovered a new park yesterday, surrounded by an absolutely beautiful old neighbourhood. It’s amazing how different your own city can seem when you experience different areas of it.

  • Growing babies! My baby boy learned to crawl this week, =) …he’s getting into everything, of course, but it’s so much fun watching him explore new areas of the house now that he can move himself.

What are you celebrating this week?

Uh-oh. Time to baby-proof everything! It's amazing how quickly kids grow and how we can discover new corners of our world we didn't realize were there. Have a great weekend!

      – My new, far more easily manageable haircut!
      – Speaking of growing babies, Baby Nephew's learning how to stand and say "da-da-da-da-da". So proud. ^_^
      – I've made a certain purchase I've been wanting for /ages/, and it should get shipped here soon. Anticipation!!!
    3. Babies grow so fast! Enjoy while you can.
    4. Sometimes the small things are the best. I still remember my kids learning to crawl… I kind of wish they were still that small because they were way easier to keep track of!

Those type of discoveries are fun. Hope you can visit the park often. And congrats to the crawling. Now, your quiet days are over 😉

It's a little strange the great places we missed in town when we didn't pay attention. But at least we've discovered them now.

Started to crawl…yay! Be prepared for you hair to start going gray at a quicker pace now 🙂
