Literary Fashion

You may already know about Disneybound, but just in case you don’t, I feel the need to point this amazing tumblr out.

I am not a fashion person. Mostly, I get up in the morning, chill out in PJs until I need to get ready to go to work. I wear work clothes for work, come home, and put the PJs back on. Sometimes I vary it up with sweat pants, too.

In the Spring/Summers, I wear a lot of skirts and dresses, but in the colder months, I am definitely a frumpy mess whilst at home! Dresses (day dresses) are my weak spot, but mostly I am not a huge fan of style and fashion-y clothes.

HOWEVER.

I would love to have nothing in my wardrobe but story-inspired clothing! Disneybound does, as the name suggests, do a lot of Disney inspired clothing, but she does some other outfits as well, and other people contribute their own outfits, too. And, of course, many Disney movies are loosely based off of fairy-tales or other books, anyways!

I could showcase these for ages, but today I’ll just show you some of my favourite inspirations from my favourite story, Peter Pan.

  3. I think I'm partial to the Captain Hook look! It kind of suits me.

Firstly, new follower and want to say hi 😀 Secondly, OMG You love Disneybound! It's amazing how someone can do something so amazing with fashion. They can retell the story and, not just any story but Disney, so well. Thirdly, I really love what you have to say and your blog is fantastic. I wanted to let you know that I nominated you for the Liebster Award! You really deserve it, so please come over and claim it!

I like Captain Hook myself! He is one of my favourite characters of all time, so of course I love his fashion, too!

I really like how you can identify the characters just by the clothing.
