Reader Classifications

Well, I missed Save-A-Word this weekend…my parents came down and we went to see a production of The Who’s Tommy, so I didn’t have the chance to write one! (Which is a shame, because it was a great theme).

However, I did see this on The Feather and the Rose last week, so I’m going to share it, because I think it’s great.

Originally from Laura E. Kelly, this is a great classification chart for readers!

I am an OCD Reader/Book Worshipper/Compulsive Book Buyer/Library Lover (although I admit this is mostly because I work at a library, =P)/Multitasker/Comfort Reader/Audiobook Listener/Bedtime Reader/All-The-Timer/Cross-Under/It’s Complicated/Critic/Conscientious Reader/Professional Reader/Delayed Onset/Slow-Starter.

Some of those fit me perfectly, others are only occasionally true for me, and some are dependent on certain situations. I think probably “It’s Complicated” is the best overall description of me and my reading habits!

What about you?
