December Update – Wrap-Up, Titles, and the Holiday Season

Welcome December! I love this time of year. While I’m not actually a huge winter fan, I am a lover of the holiday season. Warm drink, festive movies, and the simple joy of wrapping presents is always amazing, =). But, while the month is busy with holiday happenings, it’s also a busy time for writing as well! Here’s what I’m up to this month: NaNoWriMo Wrap-Up – With the beginning of December comes the end of the NaNoWriMo season. If you participated this year, how did you do? I partook in a more laid back version of events, focusing on editing a current manuscript. I’m happy to say I surpassed…

Here’s what I’ve been up to lately: NaNoWriMo – It’s that time of year again! I’m not participating in the full event this year, but I am working on my own November editing goals as part of an awesome group of writer moms. It’s been dubbed Mom-O-Wri-Mo – a more laid back approach to the month! It’s going well so far. Hopefully the pace will continue =) Edits – This goes along with the previous point. I’m currently working on edits for one project, with two other edits on…

Of course, I’ve been busy writing and editing the upcoming Oracle of Senders books. Keep an eye out for more information regarding book 2 in the series, Revenant, coming soon! And, if you like YA Contemporaries with family themes and fall settings, then definitely…

    Shadow Release Day!

I’m so excited to say that Shadow is now available! My second book with the awesome Orca Book Publishers released today!   About the book: Fourteen-year-old Preston Craft is organizing a film festival for his school’s film club. When one of the films goes missing two days before the festival begins, Preston is convinced it was stolen and is determined to get it back.
